Bits of Gold, a leading Fintech company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. Bits of Gold provides financial asset services, working under a strict regulatory regime and operates in a very active environment with a high frequency daily volume of transactions. As a result of the company’s success in the Israeli market, it began its growth into international markets, and started its next round of fundraising to accelerate growth. The position combines both accounting aspects as well as financial and business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining the books up to balance sheet.
  • Reconciling banks, credit cards, invoices, vendors and intercompany balances.
  • Overseeing payments.
  • Controlling budget.
  • Financial Reporting to the authorities on a periodic basis.
  • Preparing for the quarterly review and the annual audit.

Requirements:

  • Certified bookkeeper (type 3) and payroll controller in Israel.
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping and payroll accountant experience, experience in Fintech, trading, Algotrading, Forex, Crypto – significant advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience on Priority software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong IT and systems orientation.
  • Ability to operate effectively, independently in a fast-growing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in Hebrew and English.
  • Experience in working with multiple currencies – advantage.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.

Bits of Gold, a leading Fintech company is looking for an experienced Controller to join the team. Bits of Gold provides financial asset services, working under a strict regulatory regime and operates in a very active environment with a high frequency daily volume of transactions. As a result of the company’s success in the Israeli market, it began its growth into international markets, and started its next round of fundraising to accelerate growth.

The Controller will lead the company’s financial aspects in order to build an efficient infrastructure with a hands-on responsibility on a variety of day-to-day tasks, while also handling strategic matters. The right candidate needs to bring their experience in producing annual/quarterly tax and financial reports and their experience in financial management.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the company implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Managing the financial processes, preparation of financial statements, tax reports and internal reports.
  • Hands-on responsibility for all day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Leading the preparation of the quarterly review and the annual audit, while ensuring all statutory reporting and filing requirements are complied.
  • Managing the company’s bookkeeper on the monthly closing.
  • Monitoring the trading activity to improve trading routines.
  • Monitoring, enforcing and obey local and international regulatory, and active involvement in the legal-contractual aspect of the company's operations.
  • Active involvement in the company’s strategic matters such as raising capital, establish strategic collaborations and negotiate with suppliers, develop operative processes.

Requirements:

  • CPA and internship in one of the Big 4 accounting firms – must
  • Experience as Financial Manager or Controller (/assistant controller) in a company with high frequency trading volumes. Advantage for a daily trading company such as: Fintech, Capital Market, Algotrading, Forex, Crypto.
  • Independent, self-learning, with a flexible mind that welcomes new challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in Hebrew and English.
  • Experience in working in a startup company, and/or raising capital and/or leading a business financial strategy, and/or working with regulators and financial institutions, and/or practical experience in financial compliance fields – Advantage.
